There are given information about average carbon dioxide emissions per person in four European countries over a 40-year period between 1967 and 2007 by line graph.
Overall, what stands out from this graph,there are in United Kingdom and Sweden were downward trend, while in Italy and Portugal illustrated upward trend.
By 1967, in United Kingdom was the highest amount of carbon dioxide emissions at nearly 11 metric tonnes per person. Then, there was a decrease until the end of period and it remained at 9 metric tonnes in 2007. In addition, in Sweden started with just under 9 metric tonnes in 1967, following this increased considerably by 2 metric tonnes in 1967. After this, there was a dramatic drop by approximately 3 tonnes in 1987. Eventually, declined gradually until 2007 at just below 6 metric tonnes.
At this period, Italy and Portugal had nearly similar trend. They begun at just over 4 and 1 metric tonnes per person respectively. Simultaneously, there were gradual rise until the end of period which were at just under 8 and 6 metric tonnes respectively.
