The line graph illustrates the changes in the number of British citizens travelled by three different modes of transport such as car, train and bus over a period of 60 years from 1970 to 2030.
Overall, car is the most popular method of travel by them in the given time frame. Although bus was the second preferred choice of transportation at the beginning of the year and it then declined at the final year.
In the graph it is observed that, almost 5 million people use car to travel in 1970, then it gradually increased over the given years. it is predicted that it will increase and reach the peak of 9 million at the final year. surprisingly, around 4 million people travelled by bus until 2010. Then the number of bus travellers over took by the train passengers, which was the least preferred mode of transport from 1970 to 2010.It is anticipated that following years people will use train as their convenient travelling method as compared to bus.
