The graph below shows the average time spent by four car manufacturers to produce vehicles at their US factories

The given line chart illustrates the average amount of time spent to produce vehicles by four car manufacturers in US form 1998 to 2005.

Overview, it can be clearly seen that the amount of time General Motors spent on producing vehicles had a downward trend,while the rest of manufacturers showed marked fluctuations.

To begin with, the amount of time consumed by General Motors to produce a vehicle was 32 hours in 1998 and ford spent only 28 hours per vehicle in same year. This amount of time dropped and reached at approximately 27 hours in the case of General Motors , whereas Ford took nearly 31 hours to manufact vehicle. There was a difference of near about 1hour only between ford and General Motors in 2005.

Moving further, both Toyota and Honda took 22 hours to make a vehicle in initial given year. In 2002, there was slight grew in amount of time to manufacture car by Toyota and Honda and it reached at around 24 hours . The amount of time spent by Toyota and Honda to produce vehicle in last given year was around 21 hours and 22 hours respectively.
