Write at least 150 words.
The usage of fish, chicken, beef, and lamb in a country in Europe during the 1979-2004 period has been demonstrated in the line graph above.
The first impression is that while chicken consumption witnessed an overall upward trend, that of the others decreased over time. Secondly, fish usage was not much of a big fluctuation among all.
In particular, this European nation had its chicken figure change go up and down continuously. In spite of that, the highest number of 250 grams per person per week occurred in 2004 which was the end and the lowest point 140 grams was seen in 1979 which was the beginning of the analyzed period.
Similarly, beef and lamb’s numbers share that same sudden direction-changing tendency except that these two meet types decreased in general. There was a sharp drop in 1981 to 175 grams from 220 grams in the figure of beef usage. Followed that was an even more dramatic rise to 240 grams in 1982. As far as the lamb was concerned, its number almost remained the same from 1982 to 1985. As pointed out earlier, the consumption of fish did not fall sharply. The difference in grams between 1999 to 2004 was very subtly which was around 40 grams.
