This chart shows the information on three methods used in waste disposal of a European country from 2005 to 2008. The amount of disposed waste indicates in million tonnes.
The mostly used waste disposal method in 2005 is landfill and it is almost fifty percent of the total waste. It is gradually decreased up to 1200 million tonnes from year 2005 to 2008.
In 2006 also the most amount of waste was disposed by landfilling but in 2008 the most of waste was dumped in sea.
In all tree years the lowest amount of waste was disposed by using burning method.
