Overall, While the visit for vacation remained questionable throughout the time period, there was a moderate lift for those who visited for business or meeting their loved ones but a downfall in the end. Mostly, vacationers were higher than the other two.

Turning to details, 6. 5 million explorers visited UK for holidaying in 1989 which kept rising and touched the highest, 9 million, in 1997. Following that, it witnessed drastic downfall reaching 6. 5 million by 2004. Finally, the figures resurrected to 9 million in 2009.

Probing further, the ones toured for business or meeting relatives began with 5 and almost 3. 5 million respectively in 1989. Both rose slowly hitting their peaks in 2009, the former at 8 and latter at 7 million followed by a slight downward trend settling at 7 and 6 million respectively.
