The table compares how many people who had a mobile phone and used for one of 4 different functions in it in Vietnam in 3 years: 2005, 2008, 2010.

Overall, from 2005 to 2010, the rate of mobile phones used for making calls in Vietnam always stand at the biggest percentage and declined minimally in the last 2 years, while the number of people in Vietnam used there phones to take photos experienced a enormous rise during 5 years shown. In contrast, the percentage of mobile phones users spent time on texting or recording audio in Vietnam fall significantly in all 3 years.

It’s absolutely proved from the table that in 2005 and 2008, Vietnamese people always used their phones to call someone, then this rate decreased minimally in 2 years next, ended at 97% in 2010, whereas the rate of mobile phone owners used for taking pictures in Vietnam stand at the lowest percentage, with 65% in 2005, but this rate saw a dramatic increasion in the next 5 years, reached a peak of 77% in 2010, which is reported that Vietnamese people used their phones for taking photos more than texting and recording.

Turning to the next two features of a mobile phone: Texting message, and record audio. In 2005 and 2010, the number of people in Vietnam used mobile phones for texting message more than that used their phones for record, about 4% and 5% higher, respectively per year. However, the percentage of Vietnamese people who have a phone used for texting is 5% higher than that used for audio recording in 2008.
