Essay topics:

The graph below shows the percentage of people in different age groups in one city who attended music concert between 2010 and 2015.

The line chart compares the percentage of citizens in a particular city who went to music concerts over the 5-year period (2010-12015), slit by age.
Overall, youngest group overtook those in middle-age group to become the group with highest level in music concerts attendance, while the elderly’s participation was lower. In addition, the greatest increase in levels of attendance was recorded for the youngest group.
In 1950, over 50% of people aged 25-44 attended music concerts, while the figures for concert-goers in the age groups of 16-24 and 45-54 were lower, at 40%. However, one year later the figure for the youngest group surpassed the middle-age group, increasing dramatically to 70% in 2015, while that of people aged 25-44 and 45-54 ended at about 53% and 49%, respectively.
Turning to the two remaining groups, the percentage of concert-goers in the age range of 55-64 decreased slightly from 25% to approximately 23%. The opposite was true for the oldest group, despite some drops in between, the ratio of this group witnessed a noticeable upward, reached at more than 20% in 2015, higher 10% than that in 1950.
