The graph below shows the percentage in places where students lived over five decades.
A comparison of the percentage of the students' lived preferences between 1960 and 2000 is presented in the bar graph.
In the initial year, both proportion of students stayed in shared room with other pupils, and for those lived together with a host family witnessed the same amount at 35%. This is also accounted for such students either who lived in the students hall or at home with 15% was by far the fewest. By 2000, however, there had been some increased, and it had widened out from 35% to 70%, a rise of 25%.
Moreover, the other figures saw a noticeable decrease while those students lived with such host family hit a trough at very small proportion (5%). In the 1970 to 1990, students who lived with other students saw a rise whereas the figure for those stayed with a host family showed the reverse and with by far the fewest. This contrasted to other figures showing fluctuation onwards.
Overall, the most noticeable changes were seen in the figure for those lived in a shared house and such students stayed with a host family while the other figures saw a fluctuation.
