The line chart provides the yearly spending of the US people on the cell phone and residential phone services from 2001 to 2010.
Overall, while the consumption of wireless phone assistance rose dramatically, the services of residential cellphones experienced a significant fall.
In 2001, the payment for telephone services was 200$. One year later, it increased by 100$ and almost stay the same until 2003. In comparison with 2003, in 2007, there was a twofold increase in the expenditure, from about 300$ to around 600$. It slightly grew approximately 650$ before continuing to rise noticeably to 750$ in 2010.
On the other hand, the telephone residence services started at about 690$. In the next six years, it decreased by 500$, from 690$ in 2001 to around 490$ in 2007. Until 2010, users only needed to pay 400$ for residential phone services, which fell by 90$ compared to the figure of three years ago.
