The two lines graph compares the prices of the housing over 6 months in 2005. It can be clearly seen that the average prices of on market and sold houses fluctuate from July to December.
According to the graph, in July the prices of houses on market with the amount as high as $335.000, while the prices of sold ones were approximately $300.000. Then, the prices of on market houses dropped suddenly to $329.000, but that of sold houses increased by almost 20% in August. The prices of the both types decreased to be $319.000 and $290.000 respectively. Moreover, the price of sold ones still the same until the next month, in October, when the price of on market increased to be the same as in August. It is noticeable that the prices of sold houses were obviously increased in November and December to be $320.000 and $308.000 respectively, in case of the sold houses, the prices decreased to be $320.000 in December.
To sum up, as the months passed by, the price of housing tended to be affordable.
