Overall, gym memberships faced fluctuations amongst both genders. This can be seen especially among men, as their number witnessed rapid changes over the years. In 2005, they reached a peak of 5000 people. Nevertheless, after this year, their number dropped suddenly, hitting the lowest of under 1000.
Additionally, the graph shows the trend of female gym memberships. In 1980, they were in the minority, being 1000 fewer than males. However, by 1995 ladies figure doubled and prevailed for approximately five years. A surpassing in numbers is also observable just before 2010 with a gap of over 1000 persons.
