The line graph illustrates, the necessity of electric power, during distinctive days of winter and summer, in England, and the pie chart depicts, how an average English home consumes electricity. The data is calibrated in 'units of electricity' and 'percentage'.
It is clear from the line graph that, initially the demand of electricity, is about 35,000 units of electricity, and around 18,000 units, in winter and summer respectively. In winter, consumption of electricity started fluctuating and after half of the day, it rises to 40,000 units, whereas in summer, there are very small change in the same lap of time. Moreover, in winter, uses of electricity increases, between 12 to 21 hours. Beside this, there are decreasing trend in summer. Finally, after 24 hours, demand of electricity is same as initial in both cases.
Moving further, it is seen from pie chart that, the majority of electricity, used for heating room, and heating water, which is 52.5%. While, the proportion of electricity, used in the case of oven, kettles and washing machines, extremely reduced to 17.5%. However, 15% of total electric energy, used for lighting, TV, radio and same amount of power, used for vacuum cleaner, food mixer and electric tools.
Overall analysis, it is observed that, large number of units of electricity, used in winter. Whereas, least amount of electric energy consumes in summer. However, more than half of the electric power, used for heating rooms and water, and only few percent has used for vacuum cleaner food mixer and electric tools.
