The graph shows the number of oversea visitors to three different areas in an European country between 1987 and 2007. Summarise the information and make comparisons where relevant.
The line graph illustrates the changes in the number of foreign tourists to three distinct destinations, namely the coast, the mountains, and the lakes in an European nation from 1907 to 2007.
In general, the three categories showed an upward trend over the period examined despite some fluctuations to varying degrees. Additionally, the cost generally remained the most common area among oversea visitors.
At the beginning, the number of visitors visiting the coast stood at 40 thousand, higher than that of the other segments at the same time. This figure, then, witnessed a slight decrease to reach its lowest point at roughly 35 thousand before leaping to its peak at about 75 thousand at the end of the period surveyed. Following the similar trend, the number of foreign visitors coming to the mountains started at exactly 20 thousand, which was twofold lower than the figure for the coast at the same time. Following this, the mountains witnessed a gradual increase in the quantity of oversea guests, with the figure being around 35 thousand in 2007 - its highest point throughout the time of period.
In contrast, the 1907s recorded only 10 thousand foreign visitors patronizing the lakes, lower than that of the others at the same time. However, there was a dramatic growth of nearly 65 thousand visitors visiting this destinations, with a subsequent fall reaching to its lowest point at exactly 50 thousand visitors at the final year.
