The graphs below give information about computer ownership as a percentage of the population between 2002 and 2010, and by level of education for the years 2002 and 2010.
The graphs contain data about computer ownership by total population as well as by education level between the years 2002 and 2010.
Overall, both graphs show an upward trend throughout the provided year, and computer ownership was directly proportional to the level of degree.
The first graph shows details about the ratio of computer owned by the whole population. In the year 2002 around half of the population had owned computers. After that with a gradual growth the percentage hiked to about 60% in year 2006, which further went to approximately 75% in the end.
The second graph details ownership based on education. In year 2002, least computer was owned by student with no high school diploma, eventually which increased with increase in degree like around 55% by college student, 70% by student perusing Bachelor’s degree and highest by student with Postgrad qualification. A similar kind of trend was followed in the year 2010 also with a minimum value of 40% by no high school diploma student and maximum by postgraduation student (more than 90%).
