The graphs depicts cinema attendance in Australia and the frequency by different age brackets recorded over the period from 1996 to 2000.
We can observe clearly and outright that though three figures experienced fluctuation, all of them but frequency of citizens visiting theaters witnessed an upward trend.
In 1996, the percentage of population going to cinema was 62 before rose significantly to 72 and remained stable until saw a minor decline to 70 in 1999. In the following year, it increased by small margin of 2. Contrastly, despite an auspicious start with index of growth of +0.8, average visit dropped moderately and culminated in 8.3 in 2000.
From 1996 to 2000, all four age groups maintained their position. The first place appertained to 14-24 group followed by respective older counterparts. They both reached the peak in 1999 when the number of people attending cinema of each brackets is 23, 22, 20, 18. On a different scenario, they plumbed the depths in the previous year when the highest number was only 17.
