the charts illustrate the graduate and postgraduate students who did not get the full-time job did after graduating in the United Kingdom in 2008.
we can see that most students who did not go into full-time work choose to go to further study in 2008. the number of further study in graduate students was the highest of 29,665 students, which was twice more than that of unemployment(16,235). However, the number of part-time work was nearly the same as that of unemployment.
And it is clear that the number of postgraduate students was one-tenth than that of undergraduate students in 2008. Interestingly, though there was the highest number in further study, an almost equal number of postgraduate in further study and past-time work, was 2,725 and 2,535 respectively. the number of unemployment students was just under 1700, and that of voluntary work is the lowest(345).
