The two tables indicate the consumption of Fairtrade - labelled coffee and bananas in European nations in 1994 and 2004.
It can be seen clearly that the sales of coffee made a rise in the year after in all countries shown than the previous year. Particularly in England had a significant number of 20 millions of euros compared to 1.5 millions of euros by 1994. For Sweden and Denmark, there was just the same small change of 0.2 millions of euros from 0.8 to 1 and 1.8 to 2, respectively.
Meanwhile, the second table illustrates different tendency in 2 countries, which were still Sweden and Denmark, for possessing a decrease in their figures (from 1.8 to 1 and 2 to 0.9 in order). These two were separated from the others with strong increased rates. The UK continued to lead the top with a drastical leap of more than 3 times income higher (47 millions of euros from 15 millions of euros).
In conclusion, the UK had the largest amount of sales in both coffee and bananas for the later period while Sweden kept much tiny proportions and almost stayed below the ranks of other nations.
