IELTS writing task 1 the recycling process of plastics

The diagram illustrates the process of recycling plastics. It is clear from the diagram that there are six main stages in the reproduction of plastics, beginning with selling plastic products and ending with delivering finished products to shops.

The process begins with people purchase things like bottles and something is contained in bags and rubbish. After that, while bags and rubbish are thrown away and brought to landfill, bottles are collected for recycling purposes.

In the next stage of the process, bottles that are collected are delivered to a place called sorting house. The process continues with those bottles are transported by a truck to a factory. Following this, at this place, the recycling process of plastic happen and in this process, the factory emits carbon dioxide into the air. The final stage of the process is that the finished products manufactured from the factory are delivered to shops to sell.

The given pictorial representation reveals the two modes of dealing with plastic wastage, either recycling or dumping them in landfill sites.

Overall, it can be seen that the recycling process has six stages, which are more complex than the landfill process that has only three steps.

In the case of the landfill process, the customers buy plastic products from the shops and use them. Next, after using the products, the customers put them into waste bins or litter them on the ground. The plastic waste is then collected and dumped into a landfill site.

The recycling process begins with plastic products being bought and used. They are then brought to recycling collecting points. After sorting them out in the warehouses, they are loaded on trucks to be transported to the processing facilities. At these facilities, they are made into new products. The recycling process repeats itself after having these products distributed to the retail agencies.
