The pie chat illastrates the principal causes why agricultural land is loosing its productivity. The table give information about various reasons of land degradation in North America, Europe, Oceania during the 1990s.
Mostly land decreased by over-grazing and it is about 35%.And the less degradation is caused by other causes and the number is 7%.
In the table tree clearance us mostly caused in Europe and it is (9.8%) and it is less in North America (0.2%). Over-grazing cause the major destruction in Oceania and the amount is 11.3%. This is the large number of downfall.
Overall it can be seen that Europe is top in the most degraded place (23%)among the 3 regions.
