The image illustrates the stages involved in chocolate production. It is evident that this process consists of 10 main steps starting with the growing of fruits on coca trees and culminating in producing the final product, chocolate.
To begin with, Coca fruit comes from trees which are native to American, African and Indonesian lands and climate. When these fruits are ripe enough to be harvested, based on their red color, they will be picked and opened up in order to take out white beans, inside. The resulting coca beans then will be exposed to air for fermentation and then, carried to the next step to reduce the moist or water in them by spreading them under sun's direct rays and heat.
Following the drying section, the merchandize packed in sacks is ready for to be transported to the factory by means of vehicles or rail roads. Prior to the stage of crushing beans for removal of their outer shell, they are first, heated in high temperature( about 350 C). The final commodity of this process, liquid chocolate, is created by putting inner part of coca beans under pressure applied by rolling cylinders.
