The given graph provides information about monthly average temperatures of London, New York and Sydney experienced yearly. The average yearly sunshine hours in each of the above cities is also given in a tabular form.
From the graph it can be seen that London and New York seem to have more or less similar trend throughout a year. However, London is warmer than New York during the weaning winter months of January, February and March. In contrast, people of New York have to endure higher temperatures compared to residents of London during the spring and summer months leading into winter months. In comparison, Sydney which lies on the East side of the globe has exactly opposite climate. Sydney’s maximum temperature is 25°c during January and February and lowest is 15°c in July which indicates that Sydney is less prone to temperature fluctation. This is also reflected in the hours of sunshine received by each city. New York, where the highest temperature reaches to 30°c has the most sunshine. London, where summer months are fairly cooler has the least exposure to sun amongst the 3 cities.
