The line graph illustrates the consumption of chicken, beef, lamb and fish meat over the period of 25 years from 1979 to 2004 in European nation. Amount of the flesh consumed by a person in each week is measured in grams.
Overall, it has been seen clearly that the consumption of chicken had increased by the end of 2004 while for remaining meats, it got reduced by 2004.
Nearly 150 grams if chicken was eaten by each person per week in 1979 which rose to nearly 250 grams in the year of 2002 before dropping to approximately 245 grams in the final year(2004). On the other hand, amount of lamb eaten by the folks was quiet same as chicken in starting year(exactly 150 grams per person per week) but it decreased to around 60 grams in 2004.
In each week, each person was eating around 210 grams of beef which reached to roughly 230 grams in the year of 1983 and in following years, consumption was decreasing gradually and dropped to approximately 100 grams in 2004. Similarly, decrease was seen in the consumption of lamb from 1979 to 2004(150 grams to about 50 grams per person per week respectively).
