The line graph below shows information and predictions regarding the emissions of methane in four countries between 1970 and 2060

The graph gives information and projection about the amount of methane emitted in four
countries over a 90 years timescale.

Overall, the emission of methane in all four countries is anticipated to have an upward trend. Additionally, the amount of methane emitted in Bolivia is expected to remain unchanged throughout the second half of the period.

In the beginning, Afghanistan gave off the largest portion of methane out of the four countries with 25 tons while Bolivia only produced 2 tons. At the end of the period, Afghanistan’s emission of methane is likely to be the highest, at about 42 tons respectively, followed by Kazakhstan with 40 tons.

There was a slight drop in the methane emission of Kazakhstan in 2010, followed by a big jump in 2020, and is expected to fluctuate again. In 2020, the amount of methane emission in Chad rosed to 15 tons, which was the same number as in Bolivia.
