The line graph illustrates the proportion of visitors to four different well-known places for tourists in Brighton in England from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, the percentage of people visiting Pavilion and Pier increased while the figure for Art Gallery and Festival saw a decrease throughout the period shown.
In the year 1980, the proportion of tourists who visited Festival was the highest, at exact 30%, compared to about 25% of people visiting Pavilion. The figures for Art Gallery and Pier wew lover, at above 20% and 10% respectively. In 1995, the percentage of people who cae to Pavilion reached the highest point at about 50%. The figure for Pier went up gradually despite fluctuations. By contrast, there was a decline in the proportion of people coming to both Art Gallery and Festival, to about 20% and 25% respectively.
A significant fall was recorded in the percentage of tourists visiting Pavilion from 1995 to 2010. Likewise, there was a decline by about 10% in the figure for Art Gallery. By contrast, the peoportion of people who came to Pier experienced a considerable rise to over 20%. The figure for Festival saw a slight increase to about 27% in 2010
