Given is the line graph comparing three different countries in terms of people using internet between 1999 and 2009.
Overall, there was an upward trend in the percentage of internet users over the given period, and Mexico saw the lowest increase compared to the USA and Canada.
At the beginning of 1999, the percentage of the population using the Internet in Canada was half that of the US, at 10%, then this number increased sharply and reached the level of the US in 2005, at 70%, before surpassing the US and peaked at 100% in 2009.
Mexico witnessed a slower growth in internet users, starting at 5% of citizens in 1999. The proportion of Mexicans accessing the internet inched slightly to 10% in 2001 and then ascended more quickly in the next 8 years before hitting its peak of 40% in 2009.
