From this point, Gold sales witnessed a progressive collapse to July, where, for the first time, it hit a low of nearly 100 million dirhams. Over the following next month, there was a gradual rise in the sales of gold to nearly 200 million but, for the second time, it plunged again to a low of around 100 million dirhams per month in August. Afterwards, the sales of gold increased gradually to around 190 million in October, and finally leveling off at this level for the remainder of the period.
