Overall, it can be seen that there were significant upward trends in the consumption of hamburgers and pizza while the figure for fish and chips witnessed a considerable decline. And also, in 1975 fish and chips are consumed the most, but in 2000 the consumption of hamburgers was more than the other fast food.

In 1975, the usage of fish and chips was highest, at around 100 times eaten per year, while people ate hamburgers much less, at around 10 times. At the same time, the figure for pizza was much lower, at about 5 times. In 1995, the consumption of fish and chips rapidly fell, to about 50 times. By contrast, there were sharply rises in the usage of hamburgers and pizza, to about 100 times and 85 times respectively.

In 2000, there was a marginal increase in the consumption of hamburgers, finishing at around 11 times. Despite rising in 1995, the usage of pizza, then levelled off, at just 85 times. By contrast, the consumption of fish and chips continued its downward trend, to just under 40 times.
