The given line graph illustrates the data about importing bananas to Japan, France, German and the USA between 1996 to 2004.
Looking at an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the least amount of bananas was imported by USA, while japan imported the most.
Looking more specifically, the USA started an import from 1USD per kg at the beginning period and remained stable for next year, while a figure of German started from 1.5 USD per kg and dipped by 0.5 USD per kg in 1997. After that, both of the figures experienced fluctuation, by the end, they hit 1.7 USD per kg and 1.3 USD respectively.
Shifting to the remaining data, the starting point of Japan and France was similar merely 2USD per kg. The importing rate of Japan grew consistently till the year 1998, whereas data of France was overwhelmingly flat at the end of 1998. In the following year's, the data of Japan and France underwent a small uptick and eventually meet at 2 USD per kg.
