The line graph given below compares the number of cars stolen in four European countries from 1990 to 1999.

Overall,the cartheft in Great Britain surpassed the theft of all the other countries in the initial periods.Also,although Great Britain had higher thefts it experienced a decreasing trend whereas Canada had an increasing trend within the time frame.

To begin with,in 1990,the number of car thefts in Great Britain and Sweaden were approximately 18,000 and slightly abve 5000 respectively.However,Great Britain showed an erratic pattern in the next 8 years and gradually decreased to
about 17,000 thefts in1999.In contrast,Swedens rate slowly climbed to almost 13,000 over 6 years ,but plateaued between 1996 and 1998.By 1991,number of car stolen had an upward growth just below 15,000.

Moreover,both France and Canada showed a similar pattern in thefts.The figure began with around 10,000 car stolen in both the countries and then started to drop slightly,but in the case of France thefts increased very slowly over the period,it declined further to approximately 6000 in 1999.Canada remained with similar and steady pattern until late 1999.
