It has been observed that the rate of couples in myriad of western countries selecting to have no children is substantially escalated. It is a well known proverb that children are one of the avatar of god, but eventually many people tend not to have conviction in the above mentioned statement. The positive and negative aspects of this belief are mentioned below.
Firstly, there are couple of benefits of having no children. Responsibilities of the couple will dramatically reduce, there will be no pressure on their parents to take care of them and providing every financial need of their children. Additionally, the couple will have flexibility to spend time with themselves or can focus on oneself, because having children will eventually proscribe them to meet these needs. Also, one can focus on their career, because if the couple chose to have children then it will reduce these freedom to reduce to some extent. For instance, consider the couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. We can notice how successful they are in their career without kids, till date.
As a coin consists of 2 sides, these approach too comprises of certain disadvantages. First of all , one cannot feel the life complete without children and at some scale the family-needs will be missing and incomplete. If we have children, then the hope has been maintained believing that they will guarantee safety to them in their elder phase. For example, in the age of retirement one will be completely alone if they don't have children, because it might not be guaranteed that your partner will be able to do manage the household stuff as he/she did at a younger age.
To sum up, it depends on the choice of individual and their situation in life whether they want to go with the advantages or disadvantages.
