The maps illustrate locations of buildings of a small town which is named Islip now, and plans for its improvement.
It can be seen that, considerable changes are being planned and many buildings will be built in Islip town.
Nowadays, the main road separates two columns of shops which are near the countryside. According to plan, shops which are near the town centre will not be changed when shopping centre will be made instead of northern shops. In addition, people may go to school easily after making dual carriageway around the town. In the centre of the town there are a lot of houses now, and constructors are going to built new houses these area again which are near the parking areas. Specifically, new houses will be built in north-eastern part of the town where is easy to access.
In improvement strategy, builders will construct new places for the population of the Islip town. The main feature is that the number of new houses will be increased twice and bus station, shopping centre and car parking areas will be made by architects. The cars will not be allowed in the main road in order to only pedestrians can utilize this road after development. However, location of school and some shops will be the same as today, going there will be more accessible and comfortable and there will be many buildings in Islip town.
