The diagrams show the layout of the central library two decades ago and that of today
20 years ago, the common function of the central library serves for reading generally. It is clear to see that two round tables and chairs. On the right side of the tables, enquiry desk room, which encompasses tickets, book returns and some identify papers, the adult non-fiction books room, and the children's books room are arranged by the more near distance from the entrance. On the other side of the tables, the computer room, all reference books room and CDs, and video computer games are arranged in the same criteria.
By today, the central library be changed dramatically to be compatible with
the reader's needs. The most notable change is the demolition of round tables and chairs at the center of the map, which led to the foyer being more spacious. The enquiry desk was replaced by a brand-new coffee shop, while the children's books room transform into a lecture room. It is also noteworthy to note that the three self-service machines were installed with an information desk and the alleviated adult-fiction books sequences in the middle of the lecture room and the brand-new cafe. Additionally, the reading room was converted into a computer room with many up-to-date applications. Of a particular change, the all reference books room with have smaller acreage than the old adult fiction books room, was erected. Directly facilitated the expansion of the below children's fiction books room, where was install 2 sofas and the storytelling stage to reach children's curious minds about books in the innovative media.
