The given illustrations delineate layout of the development of a village park over a ten-year period. Overall, it can be clearly seen that while the total area of the park has remained stable. Additionally, many things have been made and the radical changes have taken place over the given period.
According to the first map, the park had a few distinctive facilities. Firstly, a football pitch was located in the centre of the park and on the north-west of the pitch was a car park for maximum 20 cars. On the right of the entrance was tennis courts. In addition to that, a children play area was stimulated in right and there were a pond and woods located in the just south-east of the pitch.
The second map shows that capacity of the car park has extended to 50 cars and also the number of tennis courts has doubled. Besides the old children play area has developed with a soft play area and toilets have been added towards to north side of the play areas. While a picnic area has been placed on the south-west side of the pitch, the pond and woods have bee n demolished and replaced with boating lake and cafe.
