The bar chart is illustrating the gender comparison of engagement of studying research in six different types of science topic at UK university in 2019.
Overall, men’s commitment to physics, astronomy and geology is relatively higher than women, highlighted with mild differences in sexes. Conversely, women tend to commit in biology, medicine and veterinary medicine subject, more than the man do, but there is only slight difference observed from the chart.
Furthermore, from the chart, it displays that most male students were participated in physics, which provided by the number that participation has reached over than 200 students. In physics, however female student’s participation indicates the lowest comparing to other 6 science related subject, which counted as lower than 50.
Whilst, about the female students’ enrolment of studying science topic, it is observed there are not any remarkable difference in gender role especially in Biology and Medicine, yet there was a slightly upper numbers screening in female’s enrolment.
