PARCELS DELIVERED BY FEDERAL EXPRESS AND TNT MAIL SERVICES
The line graph compares the two most popular delivery services (Fed Express and TNT) in terms of the number of delivered packages over 80 years, started in 1920.
Overall, at the beginning of the period, TNT contributed the least of packages delivery, while the Fed Express was the most significant delivery service. In comparison, at the end of the period, TNT became the largest delivery service and the lowest contribution was made by FedEx.
FedEx’s parcels were about 1500 in 1920, being higher than TNT’s packages by approximately 10000. After 20 years, the FedEx rose dramatically and reached its peak, almost 25000, while TNT grew slightly. In 1950, Fed Express had a dramatic decreased and the number of packages was different by 5000 than TNT. Both of the mail services were at the same level, stood at 12500 in the year 1960.
From 1960 to 1980, TNT had fluctuations while Fed Express continued to increase slightly. Then, TNT grew significantly and stood at its peak, which about 25000, while the FedEx declined slowly, reaching around 17000 parcels at the end of the period.
