The picture below shows the changes of a park from 1980 to now. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps illustrate how a park transformed between 1980 and at present.
A cursory glance at the diagrams is enough to make it clear that in 1980, the road divided this park into two main parts. However, this park is separated into four different areas now.
According to the diagrams, to the west of this area, the pond and bench still exist without any change in location or size now. Meanwhile, the area for flowers located at the left-hand corner of this park in 1980 made way for the space for bush.
As the maps suggest, the area of flowers situated in the southeast of this park has been replaced by the playground. In the meantime, to the northeast of this park, trees have been cut down. Moreover, picnic and barbecue area have been built up in this place. Furthermore, more chairs and desks have been added in the former site of trees. Another thing to add is that there still have a small number of trees in this place.
Overall, this park witnessed a dramatic change over a 20-year period starting from 1980.
