The bar chart illustrate the data on the percentage of worldwide population and wealth in eight various regions around the world.
From an overall perspective, it is clear that the percentage of wealth and population show a significant contrast in all regions, especially three regions namely North America, Europe, and Rich Asia-Pacefic experience the situation that the less population, the wealthier the countries.
Regarding five regions such as China, Other Asia Pacefic, India, Africa and Latin America & Caribean, those five record a high proportion of population. In particular, Chinese possess the highest number of citizens among those five with just under 25%, which is 15% and 18% higher than that of Africa and Latin America & Caribean, respectively. Interestingly, the ratio of the other three regions is consistenly over 15%. The heavy population also reflects the the poverty of these countries; specifically, the figure of under 5% is recorded in the percentage of global wealth.
When it comes to the three remaining regions, significant disparities between the rate of population and richness can be observed. In details, the figure for population of North America and Rich Asia-Pacefic stood at around 5%, which appear to be equal to nearly one-seventh and one-fifth of their wealthy rate, respectively. Another striking feature is that despite the similar rate of population of Europe to Other Asia Pacefic anf India, the European citizens show a pestigious life with 30% in the proportion of wealh.
