The given is the map illustrating the alterations which take place at Laguna Beach in the period of 40 years from 1950 to 1990.
Overall, it is starkly obvious that there were many significant changes occurring around the Laguna Beach area with the Beach huts redeveloped to a big hotel and the appearances of landscaped gardens, parking regions, and suft school.
Looking at the maps in more detail, in the heart of the map, where Beach huts used to be located, there were new mansions redeveloped in 1970 and a hotel rebuilt in 1990, respectively. The other physical structures which had taken place in the right and left corner of the map are the car park area and landscaped gardens converted from woodland and sand dunes in turn.
Besides, it is noticeable that the school teaching surfing had been constructed behind the hotel. Further development is a road widened to the northern side of the parking area. However, the sea had been intact over the period.
