The three pie chart compare coffee production and consumption as well as profit distribution around the world.
Overall, it can be seen that South America is by far the most popular country producing coffee while Europeans are the largest consumer of coffee. In addition, the majority of profits in this industry go to shippers.
Turning to the detail, Southeast America came first with 44% whereas Oceania came last with only 2% of global coffee production. The rate of manufacturing in Africa was relatively the same as that in Asia and Central America at 19%,18% and 17% respectively. In addition, Europeans consume 55% of total coffee consumption which is double the data in other regions (27%). North America makes up for 11% of the total amount of coffee consumption in comparison with only 7% in Japan.
In terms of profit distribution, shippers are by far the greatest beneficiaries accounting for 55% of total profits. A quarter of the total financial return belongs to the seller, while explorers and producers gain the same proportion of profit(only 10% each )
