The given circular chart illustrates the four main reasons behind the less productivity of agricultural land, and linear chart below it, reveals the Globally affected regions by four activities during the period of 1990. The data is calibrated in per centum which is clearly and coherently representated.

It can be seen that, more than a third; Land Degradation is only caused by overgrazing, whereas, 7% land is degraded by other factors. Moreover, deforestation is being considered as one of another major cause of degradation of land; as it comprises 30% of total. In addition to this, 28% agricultural land become less productive due to over-cultivation.

Apart from all this, North America lost it's one in a 20 agricultural land, because of a four activities. Subsequently, 23% land is degraded in Europe in which 9.8% has been due to deforestation. Lastly, in oceania degradation of land by: deforestation, overgrazing and over cultivation is 1.7%, 11.3% and 0 respectively.

Overall, it is evident that overgrazing activity is the major cause of Land Degradation as compared to other three main reasons.
