The given figures presents data of United States for rate of poverty among women of different statuses in the shape of pie chart and comparison of poverty with respect to gender and different age groups in 2008. Single women with no childern are living most in poverty while married with children are least poor among five categories, Overall women are more poor than men at all age group comparison.
According to pie chart, 54% women contributing to poverty rate of females are single with no children while married having no kids are 8% living in poverty as compared of rest of all.Married women with children and single with dependant generation are adding 26% and 12 % proportion in women's poverty respectively.
As described in bar chart,women were more poor than men in case of any age group but this difference was highest as of 7% in age group of "75 up" and least in initial two groups of under 5 and 5-17 age group. Overall poverty rate decreased with age in males up to 59 and a slight rise in 60-64 years men but then again started gradually going down. However in women it showed a volatile pattern not any particular direction of reduction or inflation.
