The two pie charts illustrate the percentage of different energy production, namely gas, coal, petro, nuclear and other type of energy in the years 1995 and 2005. Overall, it is evident from the charts that gas and coal's production increased slightly over the period, whereas it is the opposite for petro. In comparison, there was also a marginal growth in the figure for nuclear and other energy types.
In 1995, gas, coal, and petrol were roughly equal in terms of energy production with a figure of around 29%. However, in the next decade, while coal and gas both experienced a slight increase of almost 1%, petrol's production fell dramatically to just under 20% in 2005.
The production of the remaining type of energy were relatively low compared to coal, gas and petro, with 6.4% for nuclear and 4.9% for others. From 1995 to 2005, both nuclear and other types of energy's production rose significantly to 10.10% and 9,10% respectively
