The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production of France in two years

The given pie charts compare 5 different types of energy generated in France between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it can be seen that gas, coal and petrol were produced with the largest proportions in France in two examined years. Furthermore, the production of petrol had a tendency to dramatic decrease, whereas the trend was reversed in other kinds of energy.
According to the pie charts, the French produced the huge percentage of coal in 1995, even standing at the first place with 29.80% of the total energy production. Over a period of a decade, there was a slight increase in the proportion of coal generated, reaching a peak at 30.93%. Meanwhile, in the year 2005 also witnessed a relative growth in the figure of gas, from 29,63% to 30.31% of the total. In contrast, while the majority of energy production rose after 10 years, the opposite was true for petrol. 29.27% was the percentage of petrol produced in 1995, this figure tended to significantly decline by nearly 10%, only accounting for 19.55% at the end of the period.
Furthermore, it is obvious that the proportion of nuclear and other types of energy were only responsible for small fractions in 1995 and 2005. Despite the growth in terms of proportion, the figures for nuclear production were only 6.4% and 10.10% respectively. Similarly, 4.9% and 9.10% were the percentage of the remaining sorts of energy generated in France in 1995 and 10 years later.
