The two pie charts illustrate six different types of devices used by young adults aged 18 to 25 in two years 2007 and 20017.
Overall, it is noticeable that the figure for adults using mobile phones, tablets, and Flat-screen TV increased tremendously over the 10-year period. By contrast, fewer young people chose Conventional TV to watch television.
On the one hand, although conventional TV was the most popular choice for young people to watch television in 2007, its figure dropped enormously from 34% to 4% in 2017. The percentages of young adolescents using laptops and desktop computers experienced a similar trend, falling from 20% to 12% and from 18% to 12% between 2007 and 2017, respectively.
On the other hand, despite having the least proportion with only 5% in 2007, tablet rose and become the third common choice for people aged 18-25 group to watch a lot of things, standing at 19% in 2017. Likewise, the proportion of people using mobile phones increased sharply by 11% between 2007 and 2017. Over the same period, there was a considerable growth in the percentage of young adults using flat-screen TV for watching purposes from 8% in 2007 to 34% in 2017.
