Essay topics:

The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The two maps illustrate how the Grange Pack has been changed from its opening in 1920 to the present.

Overall, the park was opened in 1920 and entertainment facilities including a large stage and various areas for recreation have been added to it. Then, it was changed and renovated to offer people more possibilities than they used to have decades ago such as a cafe, theater, playground, and parking.

To begin with the left side of the park. The previous stage for musicians has been turned into a much larger amphitheatre facing the opposite direction that will allow for concerts in the park. This change has necessitated the removal of both seating on the far left. Besides, the fountain has been destroyed in favor of a rose garden with a number of seating arrangements around it.

Moreover, to expand the recreational area, the park transformed a pond for water plants into a children's play area on the right-top of the park. Near this place, a café was built. The glasshouse on the bottom right corner has been redesigned with a water feature and an underground entrance to the park for visitors.
