The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The two maps compare the transformation of a public park constructed in 1920 and that remains open to this day.
According to the plans, we can see the stage for musicians had changed to amphitheatre for concerts, which is now situated on the left side of the plan. Moreover, the number of rose gardens, originally situated in three corners, has been centralized, replacing the fountain. Also, the four seats, previously located on the park’s left, now encircle the rose garden.
It is clear that one of the rose garden which was beside the entrance in the past, has now been replaced by a cafe. Besides the cafe, a children’s play area has been constructed, which previously was a pond for water plants. The glasshouse has been replaced by a water feature located in the bottom right corner. Moreover, an underground car park entrance has been added which did not exist in the past.
In summary, the facilities in the park have been developed and changed from 1920 to today, including an amphitheater for concerts, a cafe, a children’s play area, a water feature, and an entrance to the underground car park. However, the entrance has remained unchanged.
