The maps illustrate how Grange Park changed from 1920 to today.
In general, there was substantial development in this place over these years. In particular, the Grange Park has been built café, children’s play area and water feature whilst other things have been moved or upgraded more modern.
The most striking change is that the stage for musicians to the west of the fountain was replaced by the Amphitheatre feature for concerts. In the past, there were 2 entrances including the entrance in the north near Arnold Avenue and the second one near Eldon Street in the south of Grange Park, but now there are more entrance underground car park was built in the southeast corner. On the ground, this corner, glass house was demolished and replaced by the water feature.
The rose garden to the west of the south entrance was relocated to the center of the park whilst seats were moved around this garden. The pond for water plants converted into children’s play area and the café was built on the top of the map which is between the north entrance and children’s play area.
