The process below shows the process of producing smoked fish
The flow chart illustrates how smoked fish is made. It is clear that this process is relatively complex with many steps. It begins with catching fish on sea, and ends at selling the final products at fish shops.
At the beginning of the process, fish are caught by fishing boat, before being transported to ports. Next, these fish are frozen, thawed, and then put in fresh water. After that, they are cut open in order to mix with salt water as well as yellow colouring. At the next step in the process, the fish are put in a machine which smokes them at a high temperature. Following this, smoked fish are put in boxes, frozen, after which they are placed in cold storage rooms. Finally, the boxes of smoked fish are delivered to fish shop where sold to customers
