The diagram below shows the process of making soft cheese. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The given picture illustrates several steps of how soft cheese is made.
As can be seen, the entire process includes 5 steps in total. (The estimated time of mechanical processing takes about 24 hours), beginning with the mixture of ingredients and ending with cooling the final products.
First of all, two fundamental ingredients which are water and milk are combined in a mixer. The blend then undergoes a cooling process at 5 degrees Celsius in 2 hours. Served as a catalyst, salt is subsequently added to the combination to initiate the fermentation process. By the next 6 hours, there is a change in texture as it is getting denser at around 37 degrees Celsius,
Having been completely fermented, the liquid then evaporates at 100 degrees Celsius for 8 hours before being put to chill at 5 degrees Celsius during another 8-hour period. In the final stage, waste water is drained off through a filter, resulting in the extraction of soft cheese - the by-product of this process.
